Star Trek Catan is now available at Target
Target has chosen to make Star Trek Catan available only at your local store. Don't try ordering online as it is only available in stores. The retail price is $49.99 yet some have reported getting it for $29.99. To find out if your store has it in stock look here.

It is 31.90 Euros or about $41.80 US. They will ship to most European nations. They will not ship to the USA. I will post a link as soon as it becomes available in the US.
Are you a Trekkie? Do you love the board game Settlers of Catan? Kosmos has announced the German release of Star Trek Catan for March of 2012. It will retail for about 37 euros or about $48. Kosmos hasn’t announced when Star Trek Catan will be released in the U.S. Star Trek Catan is based on the popular board game Settlers of Catan.
Star Trek Catan replaces the resource cards of sheep, wheat ore brick and wood with dilithium, titanium, food, oxygen and water. Cities and villages are replaced with large and small space stations, the robber with a Klingon Bird of Prey and roads with Constitution class star ships.
The one new element in Star Trek Catan is a set of character cards featuring Kirk, Spock, McCoy, Sulu, Scott, Uhura, Checkov, Chapel, Rand and Sarek. Each card has two special powers that the holder can use on his turn, such as a forced trade.
The board itself has been altered slightly. The hexagonal biomes are replaced with entire planets giving the board a crowded look.
This will be the first time Kosmos has produced a franchised Catan game and it looks like it will be a great success.
